He was full of more wisdom and understanding of any person I've ever met.
He was a quiet man, but when he talked, everyone listened.
His life wasn't always easy, but I never once heard him complain.
His heart was gentle and full of pure charity towards everyone he met.
He stayed in touch with his friends, no matter where in the world they were.
His life was one of service, for his God, his Savior, his family, and his country.
He gave all that he had, in every aspect.
He was eager to teach if you would listen.
His eyes glistened with the light of Christ and kindness.
He took great care of what he had, never wanting for much.
He cherished his sweet wife every day of his life.
His spirit was one of peace and tranquility.
He loved with his whole heart.
He trusted in Heavenly Father's plan for him.
He acted in faith, nothing wavering.
He loved with the love of our Savior.
And he still is all of these things, because he still lives!
I know this to be true, because my Savior lives.
He lives and loves me.
And what a wonderful grandfather he is.
This video made me think of him, in the way that looked at me on several occasions...
not needing to say anything, but just expressing his love and care for me.
A beautifully written tribute to your grandpa. I never saw him or your grandma without smiles and have goods memories of seeing them at so many track meets. So sorry for your family and so grateful for The Plan!
