WITH ONE DAY TO SPARE

So. We've moved. States. In three days time. With one day to spare.
I accepted a position at Habitations in S. Ogden and started yesterday.
A week ago we were still twiddling our thumbs in Blackfoot.
By Saturday morning we were on our way to a new place for new adventures!
What do you think of our new home? Charming, isn't it?
It's actually my grandparent's old house. The home they moved into on their wedding day. It's on the market and we're here to cheer it up and give it some love for the next little while. (As it whips us into clean-people shape for showings.)

Today was day two at the new job.
It feels amazing to have my mind on real interior design work again. Yes, there is a a ton to learn (AutoCad is a beast!), but I'm really liking it. Bonus: my coworkers are awesome. Besides the part-time receptionist, I'm the only gal.

It's the first time since we've been married that I've worked with guys. My Melaleuca team was all girls, the Interior Design program is full of them, and there were only decor chicks at the design store.
My supervisor even showed me an awesome song/video with 5 people & 1 guitar.

Anyway, stay tuned for more photos and whatnot about our new home, work, & adventures!
(And thanks again to all those who helped us move with very little warning. xoxo)

  4. Thinking of you Caley! Wow, new home and new job in such a short time. I know you'll be incredible. You are so good at what you do! I think I need some of your advice with my house...I've been here 3 years and I'm not sure you can really tell. I've thought of you a lot since your last post and wanted you to know that my prayers go out to you and Thomas. We love you guys! May the Lord bless you with the desires of your heart. You made me ponder, reflect, and see my children in a brighter light. Thanks for the reminder and the blessing you are in my life. Love you girl!

  5. Good luck in Utah! Congrats on the new things in life! It can be a challenge to move in a very short amount of time. We did it when we moved to Maryland and it isn't easy! That will be so fun to be in a house for awhile though!
