Hello from Las Vegas!
So many things have happened in the past month and the last thing I want to do is bore you, so here's a quick run-down of what's been going down:
We finally got to meet our adorable, niece MICHELLE! She loved Thomas, it was cute to watch them together! The holidays are so much better with little kids, just sayin'.
CHRISTMAS! The wonderful day started with a surprise white blanket of snow! We got to be with a lot of family members, which is always the best part of it all. We also were able to go to my cousin Justin's mission farewell. He's headed to Argentina in a few weeks now! So excited and proud of him!

Packing, cleaning, and moving! Yep, we did it all during the first snow storm Utah got for the year. We had to continuously sweep out snow from the Uhaul and eventually saw our breath our apartment since the doors were open so much. So fun.
We caravanned with Thomas' parents to Las Vegas where we unloaded the truck into our cute, new apartment. We also spent the night with Chris and Lacey since our heat wouldn't be on for a few days. (Yes, a heater was needed here. You see, we brought the cold, rain, and some snow with us, so heaters were essential. Rare weather for here, as you can imagine.)
That night we celebrated the new year with Thomas' parents, Chris and Lacey, and Chris' parents. It was so fun to be with friends and family in a new place!
Thomas' birthday! We bought a new truck for him and celebrated with a visit to the DMV, breakfast at Hash House a Go Go, naps, and dinner with friends. It was a great way to end our two week vacation/move.

I began working at my new job: Room Resolutions. It's different from what I've previously been doing. Instead of at a large firm where I do mostly FF&E and purchasing, I'm apart of a small team that does it all! It's exciting to learn new things and be involved in all aspects of the business! I'm excited to eventually be over a lot of the social media sites for us and help the business grow.
We hiked Lone Mountain. I haven't hiked like that in years, it was hard, but so worth it! We already have a few more hikes scheduled for the next little while. So excited!
This last week Thomas started classes at UNLV and I spent six days with the Room Resolutions team at the furniture World Market and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show #KBIS here in Las Vegas. We were also privileged to be invited to a lot of evening events at various hotels and homes. They were very long days, but so great at the same time! I learned a ton and got to meet some incredible people.
I'm so grateful to have found a company that sees value in me, trusts me, and treats me with respect and gives me the opportunity to learn and grow! It's exciting to be able to use all of the skills I've learned and to already be making a difference somewhere!

And I don't know if I should be saying this too loud, (cover your ears/eyes mom) but I really like this place...
