THE NEW OGDEN LDS TEMPLE

Last month, the new Ogden Temple was dedicated. I was lucky enough to go through the open house twice and both times I was so touched. Even though I work on temples for my full time job, the temples I work on are not local...most aren't even in the country. Anyway, it was just what I needed to refresh, remind, and re-inspire me. Most designers work on projects where they frequently go on site, on installations, and oversee it in person. Not us, not me. I help with the budgets, requisitions, purchasing...you know, all the fun stuff. ;)

That's why going through the Ogden Temple's open house was so inspiring to me. It reminded me how important the work is and how beautiful the Houses of the Lord are. And in so many ways, it brought the perspective I needed to keep moving forward...for work, for me, for my family, for our goals, etc...
