The past five days have been glorious. The Salt Lake area has been in the high 90's for the past month, so we decided to go south...to get a little hotter.
We went for two reasons: a Porter family reunion and a Porter cousin wedding.
The reunion started on Thursday. All of my aunts, uncles, and cousins stayed in a big house with a pool and a living room the size to hold all twenty-five of us. The afternoons were filled with wedding prep, visiting, playing in the pool, errands, baptisms for the dead, and enjoying our time together. Group games were played every evening...and with a sports fanatic family, things got pretty intense and hilariously interesting. ;)
Saturday morning we all arose in anticipation of the joining of Nathan & Tiffany.

My brother-in-law Ian and my sister Kelsey
My beautiful sisters

(her dress was so beautiful)
The luncheon was just across the street and when we came out the clouds were
heavy with rain and the muggy air was just perfect to go back and take a long nap.
Afterwards, we took a little cruise over to Urban Renewal, the cutest consignment shop ever. That evening we again, gathered together, this time the adults around the pool and the kids in the pool, and talked about how great the last few days had been together.
The really were so fun...and going back to reality tomorrow is going to be hard.
Just sayin.
