DAY TWO: Educate us on something you know a lot about or are good at. Ha. What do I know a lot about? I've been wracking my brain all day to only come up with this:
Pinterest.
There are only a few questions to answer while pinning, but they are ALL super crucial:
Pinterest.
Hahahaha. I know, right? It's sounds pathetic, except I think I might really be good at it. You see, two years ago I signed up and knew I had to also make an account for HowDoesShe. It's been super fun and I think I figured out some pretty good tips and tricks to bring traffic to a blog. Maybe I should write a book about it...haha, but for reals. I mean, our HowDoesShe account now has over 225,000 followers...that's pretty sweet if you ask me! :)
There are only a few questions to answer while pinning, but they are ALL super crucial:
- Do you take the extra few seconds to repin to a board or just hit the like button?
- Do you write a new, invigorating caption or just leave the .?
- Do you wait for the rotating circle to load more pins or refresh the page?
Hope you're thinking really hard about those questions before making a final answer. ;)
...but seriously, I don't really use my personal profile much...but you should really come see HowDoesShe's, it's pretty dang exciting and I'm pretty proud of it!
I always repin unless something is not cute or doesn't fit in a category, then I like. I don't write captions usually. If anything I tone down the captions that are already there. And I let the page load itself at the bottom...I don't think I've ever had to wait for it.
ReplyDeleteNice! Thanks Vernoica! I'm pretty much the same way with all of those on my personal profile. For HowDoesShe's though...I try to really sell the pin in the caption to get it repinned a lot. It's actually quite fun! And I was seriously about the book...but it will probably be an ebook. ;)
