- I have to sit near the back of the bus in the squished and narrow seats for my feet to reach the floor. I wish I could recline, but that's just asking for leg aches. At least it's warm back here...
- I have NEVER had so many holiday treats and food near me for a season. They weren't lying when they said it should be called "The twelve pounds of Christmas" treat table. I've realized my weaknesses...is that what they were testing here?
- I'm no longer riding the train to and from work. There is an express bus stop near our house and I've got the kindest driver that shuttles me to the stop every morning. I then get dropped off at the front door of the church office building! Boo ya! My commute time has gone from 180+ minutes a day to around 85 an I'm so happy about it!
- Christmas is in 4 days. The new year is a week after that. Thirteen is my lucky number...can't wait to see what the year brings.
- I work with some of the coolest people in the world and we do some pretty awesome things (at both jobs). Not sure how I got so lucky...
- I have white hair. Patches of it...trying to have the attitude that I earned it...but it's a hard one to come to terms with. Ideas?
- Christmas lights on the side of the mountain in the early morning light are my favorite! It's like shimmering glitter in the gray trees...
- I idolize Christ's mother, Mary. She was a woman of virtue and compassion. She kept her covenants. She understood her role in life and focused on the most important priorities. I bet she knew her Savior better than almost anyone else who has ever lived. I want to be like her in every way...
- I am so grateful for the family I've been blessed with and the many friends who mean so much to me! I hope you know how special all of you are so me...
