Everywhere I look on Temple Square, I'm overwhelmed with beauty.
The details of the buildings and landscaping, the peaceful sound of the little creek, the smells of the flowers, and the kind words and smiles of those I pass...it's a wonderful place to work and escape from the world.
I especially love spending my lunch hour with my sister, Kelsey.
On the warm days we sit in the sun and talk about everything and everything. We watch the newly married couples and their photographers pause for special moments. We reflect on our childhood days and talk about our goals and futures with our new families. We laugh, we worry, we're there for each other. I'm so grateful for this special time I have with her, to learn from her, and to be encouraged by her.
I'm excited to watch the colors on campus change, the millions of little Christmas lights turn on, and the good moments that I love, continue. There's not much better than working in a dedicated building with one of your best friends.

This makes me so happy :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds really wonderful. I didn't realize how much I took Christianity for granted until I moved to a religionless country. Now I really miss just sharing that in common with the general public, let alone Mormanism.
