IT HASN'T BEEN TOO EXCITING AROUND THESE PARTS

Pretty much every day last week I was covered in paint. {Yes, I'm finally painting!}
Monday and Tuesday my little sister Amy spent her visiting hours covered in paint too. She was so kind to come and spend her time working...we had a great time together! It's definitely not as fun doing it by myself. Hopefully by this weekend all the touch ups will be done and I'll be able to start the funnest part: DECORATING!
{I'll be posting the befores and afters on Design by Caley...stay tuned!}

Quite a few of my painting hours were actually interrupted by home showing appointments. I'm not complaining, because that's the point of us living here...to get it cute and get it sold! But goodness...we had four showings last week! How am I supposed to get anything done? I kind of feel bad for those people that are seeing it in the in-between stage, let's hope they have a "vision" for the space like me. ;)

Saturday I totally hid behind those shades and that scarf. I was in painting clothes with paint in my hair when we had someone call for a showing. I wasn't about to shower in case I went back to painting when we got home, so, I pretended I was a famous person. They all run errands in head scarves and big sunglasses! ;) haha...

Thankfully that evening Thomas told me we were going out on a real date so for the 2nd time that week I put on make up and did my hair. It was totally worth it! Dinner and a movie was just the thing I needed to end my week.

Another thing that made me happy last weekend...this "Beach Waves in a Bottle" recipe from HowDoesShe?

I highly dislike using a blow dryer in the summer, but I love having curly/wavy hair. I'm suuuuper excited to try this recipe! Have you ever used anything like this? Did it work?

And for you moms out there, I put together a list of over 30 Back to School Ideas and shared it on HowDoesShe today...check it out! There are some really cute ideas!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
