Not much has been going on here today...mostly just trying to find the motivation to pack. Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited to go back to Idaho and see family, I'm just going to miss the Scharf's a lot. The kids have stolen my heart and Wes and Trinity have become our very good friends.
It's amazing the experiences you have in life that you would've never, ever, guessed would happen. Good thing we're getting good at loving surprises! ;)
Here are a few things I'm going to miss about Colorado:
1. The little pitter-patter of little feet in the mornings. Much better than an alarm clock.
2. The sunshine! Seriously...even on freezing, cold, wintery days...the sun is always shining!
3. Frozen yogurt night with the ladies from the ward. That's definitely something I need to start in Idaho! Who's in?
4. The old downtown. That's one regret I have...I didn't spend enough time window shopping in those adorable boutiques. Maybe it was a good thing though. The few times I went...I always ended up buying something. Oops.
5. Budapest Bistro. Enough said.
6. When the girls ask me to read them a book. Especially when they say "please". I can't resist.
7. Holding baby Bentley. Especially when I successfully get him to stop crying and fall asleep. I would be so good at the mom-job...
