Today in Relief Society we discussed Elder Uchtdorf's amazing talk on the Five Things to Forget Not.
I've read it before, but I'll read it again, because every time I do something new speaks to my heart and the experiences I'm having at that time.
He just has this way of speaking to women that is so uplifting and wonderful!
My favorite thing from today was his parable of Willy Wonka's golden ticket's and chocolate bars.
He uses them to remind us to appreciate the chocolate bars in life and not miss them because we're so focused on the future, or the golden ticket. (A similar theme to what I've recently blogged about..."loving this moment").
So that's my goal during these last few weeks in Fort Collins! I'm going to love, appreciate, take-in, capture, and probably blog about the little moments and miracles that make life so wonderful! Not only to look for reasons to be happy, but to have record of our experiences here and testimony of the blessings so I have something positive to reflect and read during my down days. Yes...my personal pity parties...we all have them, right?
Today I'm grateful for living prophets and apostles that know exactly what we need to hear to be happy and peaceful with ourselves. I'm grateful with my sure knowledge that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father and He has not forgotten me, but in fact, loves me with an infinite love.

loved that talk! seriously amazing talk and man.
