Last night we were able to attend a session at the Denver Colorado Temple. It's been on our bucket-list since the day we knew we were coming here. It is a smaller, but very beautiful temple. {My photos are fuzzy and sad, so if you haven't seen it before, look at these photos!}
As always, it was a wonderful escape from life's craziness. Taking the time to ponder and pray within it's walls truly brings back into view the eternal perspective...making today's trials seem doable!
We were planning on stopping by the Budapest Bistro again, but we got out of the temple late and...let's just say...we don't know Denver very well ;) Luckily we found a Cracker Barrel that was still open on the way home.
By the time we reached Fort Collins we had spent 7 hours round-trip for a temple/dinner date. It really makes me appreciate having them so close in Idaho! Overall, it was a great surprise date night with my best friend! I wouldn't have wanted to spend it with anyone else!
I'm so grateful that I have a place to call "home" wherever I might be in the world. A temple is The House of the Lord and I know that attending it often will bring me closer to Him.
