Isn't it amazing how the sun gives new life to whatever it touches? From the smallest plants to great big maple trees, from fuzzy dandelions to the delicate spiderweb on a fence post. I especially love the glow that comes from the dust rising from fields at sunset during the harvest time of year. I have loved having a few months of sunshine, especially in Idaho. We really do have the most wonderful summers! I'm not ready for it to slip away quite yet. With this increase of sunshine, my attitude has been better, I've been more productive, and my outlook on life has been more positive.
While enjoying a moment in the sun setting rays, I started thinking about how the sun is very similar to the Son of God. Whatever His light and glory touches, it is increased in magnitude and beauty. As I've tried harder to be a better person this year and stay close to His light, my own light has shown brighter. It's probably the real reason my attitude, productivity, and outlook have been positively influenced.

Your blog is so beautiful. I checked out your "pinup" thing or whatever it's called. SUCH a good idea. I tried opening an "inspiration" page on my blog--nightmare. And there was no way to organize my thoughts. I think I'll join!
ReplyDeleteI am going to re-vamp my living room(wahoo) this next month and although I have my concept down, there were some good accessories I saw on the sight that I can make myself. The DYI is great for someone on a budget--and you love the yellows and grays as much as me. :) I'll put up photos when I'm done. Thanks for the inspiration!
did you take these? They're beautiful. I love your inspirational posts!
ReplyDeleteYes, thank you Kayleen. Geri gave me a few tips and I've been practicing! ;)
