After Mesa Falls we headed to Big Springs in Island Park. I had never been there or heard of it before and found it really interesting. This spring produces over 120 million gallons of water each day creating the headwaters of Henry's Fork of the Snake River. It is this river that dives over the Mesa Falls'.

This location will forever more be a memorable place for our family because yesterday, Ian Haver asked my little sister Kelsey to marry him!! Pretty much all of us knew it was coming except her! She was very surprised and excited! Although they snuck off from the group, we watched them and got it on VIDEO! They were clear across the lake so bear with me on my zoomed in view... as well as on the commentary.

I love the play mill and that area in Island Park. I was there about this time of year last summer doing those exact same activities. Next time rent canoes--it's a blast! That's great about your sister.
