a little tipsy...not in that kind of way

Wednesday afternoon we ran away to our friend's cabin on the Blackfoot Reservoir. It was a nice get-away as we were able to relax by the water, paddle in the paddle boat to see water plants and blue dragonflies, and one of the best parts?...being w/o cell-phone or internet service. I will admit that I can't go for too long w/o it, but having a little time sure was nice! :)

The other best part was riding on the jet skis. I hadn't been on one in over 10 years, and it was a blast! That evening, just as the sun was setting, we decided to go for a ride out to the coves and bird-covered island. Because it was getting chilly, I pulled on an extra pair of shorts and a hoodie and warned the others not to get me wet. We rode the 3+ miles to the island and awed at the amount of birds and beautiful sunset. As Thomas and I looked over our shoulder to see where Chris and Lacey were, we leaned together and totally tipped the jet ski over. My sunglasses and shoes went flying and I came up laughing at the irony of it all.

Even with dozens of mosquito bites, it was a great little trip and definitely some good times!
