A Week of Celebrations!

This week was Thomas' week between semesters, as well as the week where I turned 24, so we decided to get out of town for a bit! We met up with my cousin and her husband for dinner on Wednesday and Thursday we attended Kelsey's graduation!

It took place in the old tabernacle on Temple Square! I had never been to an occasion there and it was really neat! Congrats to Kelsey! She looked beautiful!

We also stopped by the visitor's centers and church history museum...Thomas had never been to the museum and I'd been wanting to take him for a very long time. I'm glad we were able to go!

That evening we took a drive to a neat community outside of Salt Lake. All the streets were tree-lined, the garages were in the back so you couldn't see them, and the houses were beautiful! They were next to a temple, a church and surrounded by parks and mountains! Most homes were traditional, but there were a few modern ones in the mix too...

It was a great little get-away for us before reality kicked in again! Hope you all had a wonderful week!
