I didn't start traveling much until my senior year of high school. My family decided to do the church history trip before I moved to college. We flew to NY {my first time flying} and made our way west. The Sacred Grove was one of my favorite places from the beginning... |

We then drove to Nauvoo & Carthage IL and spent a few days there. I was able to do baptisms in the newly dedicated Nauvoo Temple. We also toured the old pioneer town. It was amazing. ![]() |

Only 2 weeks after returning from our family trip, I took my 2nd airplane ride to CA with my choir. We sang at Disneyland, played on the beach, walked & ice skated in Hollywood, and had some great times!

My next real trip wasn't until 2007...our honeymoon to the Oregon Coast.

A few weeks after that, we went to St George to see the Durhams get married! It was my first time in St George and I loved every minute of it! I tell Thomas all the time that I want to move there someday. Luckily he's taken me back a couple of times...

In 2009 I went with some friends from the Interior Design program to the east coast. The Biltmore Estate was one of our first stops. {It was also one of my favorite stops!}
We were headed to Atlanta after that for KBIS and an awards ceremony for some of my friends that won competitions. We did make time to stop here...

A couple months after that we went on a family vacation with Thomas' family to the beautiful...
I could live here too!
Last summer Thomas and I started an Idaho Bucketlist that includes our latest Idaho adventures. I'll tell you what...there's nothing I love more right now then traveling with my Thomas. Making memories and seeing new things with him is one of my favorite things!
Happy Friday!

ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were in an a capella choir in high school! I didn't even know you sang. I guess you kept that info from me when I was in charge of music for our ward... You should travel to New England sometime in the fall. You'd like it there too!
