Hooray for Christmas!

Hasn't 2010 been great!? I can't believe it is almost over...but I have nothing to complain about! No surgeries, hospital visits, CT scans, or smashed cars. I surely hope 2011 has just as much goodness as 2010 did! :)

As is tradition at the Porter home, my siblings acted out the Nativity Christmas Eve. Luckily, I got to be the photographer/videographer instead of Mary. Thomas was able to opt out as well and just enjoy it from the sofa. Below is the "manger scene" with Riley as Joseph, Kelsey as Mary, Amy as a shepherd, and Ashley as an angel/wiseman.

Amy had the sweetest shepherd costume...don't you just love the beard?

I was pretty spoiled this year. Thomas was the main culprit. I don't think he can say no...
These photos don't even include the items from the Park family!
Thank you to everyone who spoiled me this year! You're so great!

Last weekend we went to SLC as I mentioned previously.
We wanted to wander and see the lights on Temple Square, but there just wasn't enough time.
This is all the footage I got of it as we quickly walked to the conference center to see Archie.

I still think the picture turned out cool! I don't mind abstract.

I'm grateful that we have this time to remember Christ and His love for us. I'm grateful that I know the reason for the season is Christ and that those around me do too. I'm grateful for loving family [and friends] that love and support us so much! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a great 2010!
