I first saw Geri at church and thought to myself, "she looks nice, I want to be her friend." Well, someone was listening because I soon was asked to be her visiting teacher. I was so impressed with the spirit of her home and the way her and Jason {her hubby} interacted. I could just tell they were in love.

Well, that same person that was listening before also knew that she was going to be able to help me out more then I could've ever imagined. Although our husbands had completely different illnesses {Jason has cystic fibrosis}, it was so nice to be able to chat with her. She was always a great listener and so positive. I always knew everything was going to be ok after spending time with her.

Things have been tough for the Egbert's, but no one can ever say they aren't in love, that they don't live each day to the fullest, and that they aren't the kindest people you'll ever meet. 

Well, Geri told me that Jason is in a scholarship contest for cystic fibrosis, but the thing is, you have to win through voting.
