Senior Show: Dario Antonioni

The Interior Design department was lucky enough to have the astounding designer 
Dario Antonioni, the founder of Orange22 in L.A., California, 
come as a guest for our senior show. 

These are some things that he said that were inspiring to me:

Don't get discouraged-this is a life choice that you have made for yourself, 

and no one will be able to take your journey away from you.

There is no right or wrong in design, so there should be no stress. 

Get rid of it...you don't need it.

Put yourself in situations where you are a little bit scared. 

You will grow this way.

Enjoy engaging in the process.

Don't be afraid to go over the top and take risks.

Have personal rituals that feed your soul. Check in on yourself.

No idea is so great that it is not worth sharing.

Don't latch onto your ideas; there are a million of them out there. 

Besides, if this is what you love doing then you should be happy 

for every chance to come up with another idea.

Don't limit yourself to what society thinks of you.

You have the foundation to do anything you want...so go out there and do it!
