Since today is Friday the 13th I thought I better jinx my luck and talk about the love of my life. Well, Valentine's day is tomorrow, so I guess thats a good reason to. :)
When I wrote our story for pocatellovows.com I realized what an amazing story we have and how lucky & grateful I am for a wonderful husband. He really does treat me like a princess. No matter how he is feeling he always lets me know how much he loves me. He is the most selfless person that I have ever met. He sincerely cares so much about everyone in his life. He is so easy to talk to and he helps me want to be a better person.
This past month and all the surprises has also helped me have a reality check about my life. Although things have been rough Thomas daily helps me realize all our blessings. Whenever we talk about the situation he is so positive and helps us focus on the good or reminds me that things that "could be worse". I couldn't make it through this without his good attitude.
I am so grateful for the example that Thomas is to me. I told my sister once that if every girl found a husband like Thomas, this world would be perfect.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Don't forget to stop for a second and realize how great life really is. I know its easy to get caught in the rut of everything, but life is too precious to let it slip by. You can choose to make today the greatest day ever!
