FIVE, SIX, SEVEN THROUGH ELEVEN

DAY FIVE: Publicly profess your love for one of your blogger friends. My friend Sydney not only takes beautiful pictures, but I love her perspective on life. She has trials like everyone else, but she chooses to talk about the simple things in life that make her happy and that she doesn't want to forget. I especially loved this recent post about her little man discovering the basics of this world: sticks, stones, and dandelions. She reminds me to look for the good in this world, to not miss the little moments that show what this life is all about, and to keep an eternal perspective. Visit her at The Daybook. I bet you'll love it...

DAY SIX: If you couldn't answer with your job, how would you answer: What do you do? Okay...this question was just the reminder I needed to snap back to where I need to be. Working full time is really hard for me. By the time I get home at night, I'm exhausted. I have been using up all of my energy at my day job and not leaving enough for most important things: my home and my husband. So when I read this question for day six, I realized my priorities need to change...and since I can't answer "my job" for now I have to say that I'm working to get my priorities in the right order. :)

DAY SEVEN: The things you're most afraid of. Not living up to my potential. Offending someone. Heights. Not being able to have children. Losing a family member or friend.

DAY EIGHT: A piece of advice you have for others. Believe the best of others, ignore the worst.

DAY NINE: A moment in your day. Hanging out with my friend and co-worker Jenie from New Zealand.

Jenie came to the United States for the very first time this week and we got to hang out a whole bunch, it was a blast. We got a tour of some pretty cool buildings, we took her to some true American restaurants, trained her on some of our processes, and became great friends! Even though I was home for only an hour before bedtime every single night this week (hence the catch-up post)...I wouldn't take any of it back. Definitely a week to remember.

DAY TEN: Most embarrassing moment. Oh this is hard...mine is not that recent, maybe I need to be putting myself out there more? haha...One time I was at my cousin's girls camp in the middle of Utah and we were all stuck in the cabin because of a huge rain storm. After a while someone said "the rain stopped!" So I turned to run out and celebrate, except I forgot to open the sliding door. I ran into it so hard that I bounced off and landed flat on my back in front of everyone at camp. I had bruises up the left side of my body for the rest of the week...pretty dang embarrassing!

DAY ELEVEN: Sell yourself in 10 words or less. Tommy's girl, loves design, and dreams of being a mother.

Stay tuned for more Everyday in May posts!
Also, May's Love Story post is almost done
...should be up later this week! :)
