WORKING ON TEMPLE SQUARE // PART ONE

So, believe it or not, I hit the half way point of my internship in March.
March 10th to be exact...and I can't even believe it.
The adventure has been amazing. It's crazy busy, everyday.
There is so much to be done for the houses of the Lord and I love it!

I've tried to document my favorite things about this once in a life time experience.
The campus, the colors, the seasons, the flowers, the transportation, the process,
the field trips, the details, the views, the snow, the lights, and everything in between.
My sister and co-workers still laugh at my everyday picture taking,
but I just can't help it. I don't want to forget this year.

I haven't been as great at posting my photos here as I want to be.
I sometimes get my favorites on instagram, but tonight I'm playing catch up.
Below are some favorite photos I took starting with my first day through January.

walking from trax to work at 7:45 am my first week there
view from the top deck of the front runner somewhere in Ogden
pulling into Salt Lake City via the front runner during fire season last fall
view from my copy machine. I went to that picnic in the park...
another morning walk to work from trax
eating lunch with my sister on a beautiful fall day
all of the doors on the Salt Lake Temple got a new stain last fall.
this is not the new color...stay tuned for a more recent photo.
amazing details on the doorknobs of the Salt Lake Temple
Autumn had some of the most beautiful days ever...
walking to a vendor showcase with the girls
walking back from the vendor showcase.
everything was so green from the rain...I loved it!
view from the look out on the 26th floor
waiting for the train at Salt Lake Central station
the snow didn't stop for days so campus shut down early...snow day!
the prettiest bus stop in town.
you can see me standing there after work most days...
can't miss the gorgeous lights and nativities for Christmas
view from the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building
documenting the awful inversion we breathed in January
a cold but incredibly beautiful, royal blue, winter night sky

What is your favorite thing about temple square?

    1. Thanks Jennifer! I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to be doing next, trying to keep a lot of options open and see what happens! :)

  3. I picture YOU, lets say 15 years from now, teaching a lesson on Temples to your daughter's YW class, using some of these photos from your amazing time working on Temple Square. :)
