The wasatch front has been in and out of a nasty inversion over the past month or so. It's been reported to have the dirtiest air in the whole country. Doctors have told the pregnant woman to stay inside or go away and get out of it because it's so bad for little growing ones. I can definitely tell a difference if we have a storm push it out for a few days. I had to take this picture from my office on a day that I could see the mountains again. It was really exciting...although it didn't last very long...
Last week we celebrated my friend Brittany at The Garden in the Joseph Smith Memorial building since it was her last day at the office. That makes me officially the oldest intern there (by both age and time). I've only (already!!) been there five months with seven to go until my time there comes to an end. It has gone so fast and so slow all at the same time. Every day there is so much to do that at times, it can be stressful. But it is the Lord's work and I know that He wants the best without stress, so I'm working on that for Him.
Many have asked what I do for the church, so without much detail: I help organize orders for some dedicated temples as they need new or replaced items. I get to sit in some pretty awesome meetings and see some pretty awesome things! This much I will tell you: every single temple on this planet is a holy house of the Lord. His love and spirit direct the work through his prophet, apostles, leaders, missionaries and interior design interns. :) We are not perfect, no one is, but I know that as a whole, we are building the kingdom of God. As we turn to him in struggle, we will become our perfect selves.
The work is going forth in huge magnitude. It is unbelievably exciting and overwhelmingly peaceful. I cannot doubt that peaceful feeling because I know that this work true, without a shadow of a doubt.
