Summer break is great for lots of reasons.
One, my little brother Riley gets to come stay with us for a few days. Last time he came we were living in Rexburg, but after today I decided that S. Ogden is a better place for him to come and visit. We live just up the road from two of our cousins that are near his age and he could definitely use some "boy time"...(he grew up with 4 sisters, meaning he grew up with 5 bossy moms!) ;)
Today we all took a trip to the Gateway's Children Discovery Center so they could get out some of their energy and learn a few things along the way.
It was a grand 'ol time! Afterwards we met up with Kelsey and Ian at Hire's Big H where Kelsey and I chatted about the days when we were young and LOVED the children's museum in Salt Lake.
I still remember playing in the front of the semi truck in that museum, playing on a wheelchair course, dancing in flashing rooms where my shadow would freeze on the walls, going through the mirrors maze, practice fake grocery shopping, and following the mini trains on the huge track display.
Wasn't being a kid so much fun?
