I NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE

Remember our friends Jason & Geri Egbert
Jason was the one I asked you to vote for back in 2010 for a Cystic Fibrosis contest
(in which he totally won and got a huge scholarship, so thanks for voting!)
We've been pals for only a few years, but it seems like forever. ;)

Thomas first met Jason when he was a kid living in Rexburg, and over ten years later, they began their missions in the Provo MTC at the same time.

After we were married we found ourselves in their ward and I was called to be Geri's visiting teacher. Thomas had recently been diagnosed and Geri soon became one of my rocks over the next few months. I looked forward to visiting her because she was always positive and I always felt happier and lighter after talking about our different, but similar, situations as caretakers with her.

Still, to this day, I look forward to the time Geri takes out of her busy, hectic schedule to chat and catchup with me. I consider her one of my dearest friends.

Both Jason and Geri are outgoing, kind, considerate, friendly, full of service, smiles, and laughter. Even in their difficult circumstances, they are more concerned about how they can help and lift others than what they have on their own plates.

And now I ask for your help...Pretty, pretty, please!
Jason's CF condition has considerably weakened and he is in need of a DOUBLE lung transplant...and they aren't cheap. Even with good insurance, pre and post procedure costs will be over One Million dollars this year alone!...gah!

Whatever you can donate, big or small, please do. It will help lighten a financial burden that sadly goes along with all the other trials this disease brings into their lives. They truly do deserve it.

If you don't believe me...watch this:

And PLEASE, feel free to share this with your friends, family, and community!
{Because most people don't think twice about taking a nice, deep breath...
but doing just that is one of Jason's dreams.}
Let's help him make that dream come true!

Comments

  1. I didn't realize that Thomas knew him in our Rexburg days...did he go to Adams Elementary, or play little league with him?
