SOMETIMES

I watch guilty pleasures like Pretty Little Liars. Seriously. I am addicted.

I'm glad it's cold outside because I love wearing long sleeves and scarves.
And boots. And cute jackets. Tall socks and mittens.
{Okay, maybe I'm rethinking my desire to move to a warmer state.}

I wish I could just pay someone good money to tell us who is going to hire us.

I love discovering unexpected movie/show gems like Friday Night Lights.
We finished the series a few weeks ago...and I already miss it.

I feel like a 5 year old when...?
(New goal: have more happy 5 year old moments)

I feel like it's one of the world's great injustices when someone isn't hired
because of their skills, but because of who they know.

I write a blog post and realize that I need to either
take more pictures or get a more exciting life.

I feel inspired to be a better person when I make the time to focus on the good.

  1. i'm with you on the injustice of being hired. James has applied for many jobs that require more experience than he has, but how can he ever get the experience if he doesn't get hired. Oh it's so hard being a grown up. Sometimes I want to be 5 again. Wish we could have some quality 5 year old moments together :(

  3. I think Southeast Idaho is really bad when it comes to only hiring people they know. That is how Calvin got is job at Zions, after looking for 4 months, it was because my uncle knew someone there and referred him. And when he got his job he has now, everyone at the office kept asking him "So, who do you know?" He got that job on his own and I was proud of him. But it was probably because they didn't know anyone that applied. :) Anyway, it happens too much and it's ridiculous.
