As most of you know, after graduation we packed up our condo and made plans to move to Ogden to pursue internship opportunities for Thomas. We decided to pause in Blackfoot and spend time with family while we were all still on summer vacation. We went to Jenny Lake, Mesa Falls, West Yellowstone, and Coeur d'Alene and made a lot of fun memories!
In the mean-time Thomas received an internship offer in Fort Collins, Colorado that we just couldn't pass up. So that's where we're headed next! I've never been to Colorado, but everyone I know from there loves it! We are both very excited for this new adventure!
We won't be leaving for a couple weeks still...so it will be good to spend a little more time with family and prepare for the upcoming adventures!
For those who are from that area...what are the "must see" things? Any ideas on what I can do to keep myself busy? Thrift stores? Interior Design places? PLEASE share! We want to take advantage of every bit of this opportunity!

How exciting!!! When did this happen? I swear I just chatted with you..... :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great adventure for you guys! It looks beauty.
Hooray, you're gonna love it. Derek says "Big City Burrito"
ReplyDeleteI've never commented on your blog, but it being Fort Collins we are talking about, I couldn't not :) My husband grew up there! I REALLY love it there. There are so many things to do up by Horsetooth, lots of great shopping, Denver is just an hour away and that opens up a lot of fun things too. My husband is also a die hard Big City Burrito guy (I haven't caught the vision...) You will love it!!
ReplyDeleteCaley! How exciting for you guys!! Congrats to Thomas on the internship- I hope he enjoys it. My parents moved to Ft Collins this year! Actually, my mom is still back in Montana trying to sell their home, but she visits my dad there a lot, and he LOVES it. He got a bike because apparently there are hundreds of beautiful bike and walking trails and great parks. When we visit my parents, we'll have to meet up! I am happy for you- I think you will really like it there. :)
ReplyDeletePS this is Lauren, I just realized I am signed in as Evan... :)
