the start of something new

Well, we're here!
Here in Fort Collins, Colorado!

To be honest, it still feels like a dream. Not sure when it will stop feeling like one. Not sure if I'll notice. ;)

We had a great weekend getting here! First, we drove to Coalville UT {east of Park City} on Friday and I was able to help my Aunt Teena at her annual Vintage Market! It was so fun seeing everything that she and Kathy had made, refinished, collected, and put together! By then end of the first day, over half of the inventory had sold! It was also fun seeing all the cousins, aunts, and grandparents that came for the sale! We counted it as this year's Cousin Camp

Saturday morning I helped a little more at the market and by noon we were on the road again! We headed towards Colorado through Echo Canyon, stopped for lunch in Evanston, spent the next 5-6 hours in the dry desert of Wyoming, grabbed some quick dinner in Laramie WY, and soon after crossed the boarder into Colorado. It was amazing how instant the change was after we passed the "Welcome to Colorado" sign...it was more beautiful than I had imagined! There are tons of trees, rolling hills, colorful mountains from the changing leaves, rivers, plains, and beautiful sunsets!

We pulled up to the Scharf's home around 8:30 pm and were met with smiling faces and welcome arms. They are too good to us already! Their kids have stolen our hearts and have definitely kept us entertained. We had a great time at church and a relaxing Sunday evening. Thomas started his internship for Colorado State University's financial department this morning and I'm anxious to hear how it went! ;)

It is such a blessing to be here, to have great family to take care of us, to have this opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the Scharfs, for Thomas' internship, for this chance to step back and realize what is most important in life, and time to take advantage of this new place and all it has to offer!

Thank you to everyone who helped us get here and have supported us thus far! Stay tuned for more updates and adventures from the beautiful state of Colorado!!!
