Easter: a time of reflection

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday! We had a wonderful, spring-like day! One reason I love this day is because it isn't as easy to get caught up in the commercial side of the holiday. It's also always on a Sunday so we get to spend 3 hours focused on Christ, his life, atonement, death, and resurrection! It's so great to know that He still lives, loves us, and is at our side no matter what.

We were able to take the time to color eggs with my grandma. It's one of her favorite traditions. :)
My eggs
Thomas' eggs. Yes, his are more creative.
I just love solid color eggs, ok? ;)

Here's a short, but wonderful video that really made me think today. Enjoy!

"...one of the greatest consolations of this Easter season is that because Jesus walked such a long, lonely path, utterly alone, we do not have to do so." Jeffrey R. Holland

  1. Happy Easter! It looks like you had a great (and creative day) and spent in true anti-consumerist fashion!
