as I do many nights doing, who knows what? Oh wait...I do: work.
I can't complain that I'm able to work part time from my home. It's what I've always wanted to do. I'm such a homebody...but sometimes I wish I was a morning person.
I don't go into work at the store until 10:30 most mornings, and what do I do before then? Sleep. Usually right up until the VERY last minute I possibly dare. It's a bad habit, I know. That's why "Become A Morning Person" has been on my New Year's Resolutions for about the past 10 years.
I've had people tell me lately, to enjoy it before the kids come...but I've enjoyed it and I'm ready to be productive instead. Some of the most accomplished people I know are morning people. My friend Alison, for example...a.m.a.z.i.n.g. She gets up around 5:30 every morning to get all her work and emails done so she can be there for her kids and husband for the rest of the day. Why can't I be like that?
It's what I think...every night around this time, that tomorrow I'll get up early and get all my online work done so when I get home from the store I can do whatever I want to. I'm thinking about it right now and wondering if I'll really do it this time...

This evening, while sitting on this lovely sofa working, I prepared tomorrow's guest post for Decor Chicks. I hope you like it...

ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. I wish that I were better in the mornings. Most days I wake up feeling guilty about all the time that I have wasted by sleeping in. McKayla hasn't really helped with that either- she sleeps until around 8:00 most mornings. I keep telling myself that I will have to learn to get up earlier when my kids are in school, so that gives me a couple of years to work on it. Good luck!
