the windmills

One of my favorite things to do with my hubby is drive in the car. It gives us a chance to be together without any other distractions. We also have some of our very best conversations in the car. Conversations that are real. Real feelings and real love. It's amazing how we get caught up in our everyday lives and forget to talk {we still talk...you know what I mean.} 

Well, I've been wanting to go for a drive up near the windmills for a while. I knew that the colors of Idaho in the autumn time would be spectacular. Sunday evening we were finally able to take the drive and the colors were, as expected, amazingly spectacular. I found the sleek, modern design of the windmills against the natural landscape so neat. The colors from the sunset made it that much better too! 

I guess they're not right in my backyard, just down the road, so I can enjoy them...{if you haven't heard, they've been a big issue in Bonneville county.}
