from pretty much, the beginning...

The Rav4 has been with us for pretty much since we started dating...

I used to watch it come down the road in front of my house as 

Thomas would come pick me up for dates. I had the headlights memorized.

I would watch for it to be parked behind the gas station
 next to the dry cleaners where I worked. 

Then I'd listen for the bell as Thomas would come in the front door to 

conveniently drop something off for his mom.

I'd look for it each day as I was looking for a
parking spot at the high school...so I could possibly "run into him"
as I was walking to or from the school.

It took us to each other's church meetings and
to the singles branch after his mission.

It hid us from my family's front window
so no one could see him kiss me goodnight.

It took us to the cemetery where we would remember good friends.

It took us to two midnight showings of Harry Potter.

It was packed with stuff as we moved into our first apartment. 

It was also packed up again and again as we moved two more times...

It drove us to many doctor's appointments as well as the hospital...

it gave me peace in those days.

It drove us to the House of the Lord many, many times...

another place for peace.

It took us home to Blackfoot for almost 2.5 years to visit family.

 It's also been the spot for some of our best conversations.

It took us to school for 2 years and it's allowed us to
spend time together on our busiest days.

It's pretty much been part of me and Thomas' family since,
well, before we were a family.

I will miss you Rav4...RIP
