Since moving earlier this month, our house has been full of boxes and random objects. We've been meaning to unpack and move in, but life has continued to get busier and busier. Thomas has returned to school this semester and also began work on campus again. He will also be starting radiation treatments next week, but hopefully he'll be done before July.
I have been busy trying to fit in 20 hours of internship work around 20 hours of work for the Interior Design Department at the school. So between school, work, homework, drafting, treatments, and golfing our house is still full of boxes.
This is why I'm really looking forward to the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. We are not going anywhere or have anything extravagant planned. I've never been so excited to clean my house and get everything organized! I'm excited to have everything in place and know where everything is. But I'm mostly excited to have a clean, neat place where I can feel comfortable enough to invite people over and to have a peaceful feeling back in my life. Our homes are only second to the temples and this time my goal is to keep it temple-like.
